Re: Change your words, change your world…
I got involved with some very nefarious characters in Pak, many of them met with violent deaths and some now wield amazing power. I don’t know how that happened, on the one hand I was an A student and on the second I was hanging with very dangerous people, also at the Uni we had Quota system so many feudal lords children were admitted and these guys used to travel with a posse and automatic weapons. Being connected with some very powerful people I got a bit fool hardy. Jamaat E Islami had some very dangerous enforcers at our time, it used to be called Ansar Ul Muslemeen and these guys had no problem killing people. Their biggest Ghunda pushed my geeky friend and got ahead in line, I confronted him and a fight ensued, I was in the uni lifting team and quite strong so one nice punch and Zia went crashing down, I later realized I had been stabbed in my right upper arm. Zia was bleeding profusely and the Jammatis gathered a crowd around a hundred people. I ran to the hostel and got a revolver, my pashtun protectors weren’t around, Jammatis used to be frightened of them as they had kalashnikovs. I sat in the corner with my gun and told the crowd that the first one to come charging dies so they just stood buzzing and then I see Yarroo’s Red Toyota Jeep pull up. He had tinted glasses, He was the son of Mohmmand Tribal chief and my best friend. As soon as they saw the jeep they dispersed. Jamatti Militant branch had asked a hit on me but the nefarious crowd got involved and cornered their Commander and I was pardoned..So if Yaroo hadnt showed up by stroke of luck I might have been dead. Also mulla Aslam and Javed Dadda. I owe gratitude to.
