as a matter of fact, the tactics used now by Mourinho are very similar to Hiddink's tactics during Russia's 3-1 (?) win over Holland during Euro 2008.
Holland were playing very attractive attacking football and Russia were seen as underdogs; yet without playing ultra-defensively, but instead playing well-organized they managed to beat the Dutch tactically. Back then it was considered a masterstroke by Hiddink. Similarly, Mourinho doesn't play ultra-defensively, he just plays well-organized football, which might appear defensively because he doesn't play to have ball-possession, but when you look at the numbers (apart from ball possession) is actually more dangerous than playing overly attacking - like Barca and Arsenal do.
