Do you mean the village of Khaara or Khewra? My dad's side originates from Khaara. The village recently got electricity but it's gorgeous and the people are very kind and good-hearted.
i dont know the exact spelling..all i know its pronouced "KOO-RAH"..there are my other smaller subdivisions in this village..like TRUTI, KUDAL, PEERA, etc..i'm not sure exactly if kewra and KOO-RAH are the same....ask ur dad...btw..are u guys Maliks???

My family is Awan but as far as what I have heard, Awans and Maliks are pretty much of the same caste.
Well I couldnot reach chakwal, I stopped some 30km before chakwal where my work location was on PPL oilfield. That was 3rd day after the earthquake. The work area is very green. Amazed.
