i believe in Urdu ziyaafat = refreshment

i think the difference is in the language…may be in Arabii, it means elaborate meal but in Urdu it’s usually referred to ziyaafat.

you have given a great reference. i think may be in Arabic it means differently than Urdu.

ziafat is what is known as bada khana among bureaucracy and army people
