For a minute I thought that was the transvestite guy begum nawazish…but its only Meera! As some of you have already mentioned, everything looks soo artificial, fake, forced and unoriginal at this LUX do! I mean if you are going to promote whatever little there is of pakistani showbiz, atleast be pakistani, instead of trying to be 3rd rate bollywood or 4th rate hollywood! In the old days, PTV awards use to be a platform for the latest in shalwar kameez designs…sigh

aisam looked very handsome! Mohib nd amina, gorgeous couple. Mahira beautiful but why the clothes?? Amna haq looked so fresh, and seems to have lost some weight. And sarwat looks decent

Agreed Gucci. If our Celebs are supposed to be brand ambassadors of our culture, then they should stand up and promote it. I think there is nothing more beautiful than a shalwar qameez or churidaar. A woman looks so elegant in those. Even a sari draped nicely (not Humaima cheap-o style) looks gorgeous! Mahira should look at herself in the Humsafar promos. She’s looking gorgeous in them.
And if they really want to wear gowns, then at least show some respect for yourself and your body. Not sure why promoting Pakistani culture is considered such a bad thing among these celebs.

I thought Aama Sheikh was wearing decent clothes from the first picture, but by looking at this all of them are trying to be western-wannabees.
That just looks disturbing, the dress would’ve looked 100 times better if the back was covered

Why they are wearing such kind of dresses. This is not our culture. They cannot wear this and goes out to public in Pakistan, can they???
