At first you were denying the occupation of a childrens library, then denying the existance of the danda bardars then defending them, then justifying there tactics, so now I am asking if bullying and gangsterism aren't legitimate forms of protest then how can you justify the bullying and gangsterism of the danda bardars sitting in a childrens library?

i fail to understand what your point is.
if you misunderstood me, all Im saying is that the argument that the mosque predates partition automatically means that the land's legal status must be OK is wrong.
If the land was otherwise unused, then yeah...it is okay. Squatters typically have rights; at least in civilized nations.
In any case, how about doing some real good and eliminatig the land usurped by feudals rather than brow beat impoverished mullahs.
This whole moralistic "but they stole the land" bickering is really getting sick, considering the land grab the military is doing...

Look Im not going to be disingenuous and say that there is no other motivation behind this. But that doesnt automatically mean that the action is illegal. my feeling is that the government felt these people were fomenting the kind of uptick we've seen in religious violence, and went after them. Fact that they're occupying land illegally helps the government deal with a problem they need to tackle.
Whether or not they deserve the treatment I dont know for sure, but whatever I have seen of these people's statements (and the otherwise reputation of Lal Masjid) does not predispose me kindly towards them. They're violent extremists IMO, and any non-illegal route to get at them is good enough for me.
Rahi baat getting back the land usurped by feudals and the military, Im with you on that one.
