haaw haiii.. who is getting defensive is apparent from your post. If PTI supporters have shown that concern for KPK while Khattak was dancing, I would have saluted them.... But unko 100 khoon maaf hain ji.... I'm not supporting PML(N).. read my comments in DB's thread praising SS showing 8 hours showbazi... I'm for criticizing all, be it a military regime or any civilian provincial or local government, who is ready to take credit for all good and have no accountability for bad governance. I gave example of Azad Kashmir and India to let people know that situation is quite grave and its just not Sharif governed Punjab, people are dying due to rains in these areas as well.

Oh. So the whole heart burn and tearing shedding was for PTI supporters not showing enough anger for Khattak. Now I'd have to give it you for political point scoring. Not very a creative retort, definitely an easy one to make. Before you say a word, go and find my posts where I criticised him in absolute terms, in fact, made it absolutely clear that I don't like him as a CM. So pick a petty political point tussle with people who may have defended Khattak. However it has to be said, ironically, despite all the brouhaha that it was Khattak's dancing that made mother nature so angry made her unleash death on 20 people, would you mind explaining why such catastrophe managed to swept Punjab if the minister there weren't busy dancing? What went so wrong?

I don't care about opportunistic, anti intellectual all or none at all rhetoric. It's just same old lazy way of avoiding or halting debates because you can't be bothered to have a focused argument. The reason why I specifically mentioned last ten years is due to heightened media coverage of such disasters and public interest in political performance. So it makes more sense to ask why in past ten years no effective water management policy has surfaced, despite all leaders either enjoying massive popularity or complete tenures.

Unless you have scholarly knowledge about Indian politics that I don't, please share how these matters are dealt with. As far as I know, Indians are prone to having an open debate and protest on virtually anything and everything. But while we are discussing India, you can tell me a thing or two about Nawaz League's policy on managing the water released by India in Punjab? I've just heard news that more water is expected to be released via River Chanab in the next two to three days. (Do remember that Khattak's dance cannot be taken as face saving excuse in this case)

Sick of showbaz running around as if he has so much pain of common people, as if he wants to solve their problems. He lacks long term vision. He has failed to setup a system which does not require his presence to make people to work. After more than decades of ruling Punjab, specially Lahore where most of his development focus has been, we still don't have a proper functioning setup which will work without presence of Showbaz, simply pathetic.
