Shahbaz sharif's physical presence is not required. Most important is the delivery of aid to the affected areas. In muzaffargarh yesterday he kept starving people waiting for 4 hours, and what was the reason for it? Photo ops? There will be more opportunities for the rulers to propagate themselves. Most pathetic is that most of the camps that are set up for king Shahbaz are temporary and removed after his royal visits.

کشمور…دریائے چناب کا سیلابی ریلا دریائے سندھ میں داخل ہونے کے بعدگڈو بیراج پر پانی کی سطح مسلسل بڑھ رہی ہے۔سیلابی سے پانی کشمورمیں کچے کےعلاقوں زیر آب آگئے ہیں۔ دریائے چناب کا سیلابی ریلا دریائے سندھ میں داخل ہونے کے بعد خیرپور میں کچے کے علاقوں دیہہ موہل،بھنبھور خورم،جھیل دریا خان ، صادق کلہوڑو اور دیگر مقامات پر پانی کا کٹاؤ تیز ہوگیا ہے۔قادرپورلوپ بند سے ملحقہ ایک درجن سے زیادہ دیہات زیرآب آگئےہیں۔ڈپٹی کمشنر کے مطابق 30سے زائد کشتیوں کے ذریعے کچے کے متاثرہ علاقوں سے لوگوں کو محفوظ مقام پرمنتقل کیا جارہا ہے۔جیکب آباد میں توڑی بند اور نواب شاہ میں طوطی زرداری گاؤں کے مقام پر متاثرین کے لیے ریلیف کیمپ قائم کردیےگئےہیں ۔ادھر پنجاب کے سیلاب متاثرہ علاقوں میں دریائے چناب میں پانی کا بہاؤ تو کم ہوگیا،لیکن نقصانات اب بھی ہورہے ہیں ۔رحیم یار خان میں نوروالا کے مقام پر زمیندارا بندٹوٹنے سے بستی ابراہیم کے درجنوں دیہات پانی میں گِھرگئے۔جبکہ ٹبی جھلن میں سیلابی ریلا 3 بہنوں کو بہا لے گیا۔ان میں سے ایک کو بچالیا گیا جبکہ 2بہنوں کی لاشیں ہی مل سکیں۔ہیڈ پنجند پر پانی کا بہاؤکم ہوکر 3 لاکھ کیوسک رہ گیا ہے۔سیلابی پانی نے اوچ شریف کی 20 چھوٹی بستیاں اور 70 دیہات میں بڑی تباہی مچائی۔مظفر گڑھ کے علاقوں دوآبہ،تلیری سمیت علی پور کے علاقے سیت پور میں پانی کی سطح کم ہورہی ہے۔

CM Shehbaz Sharif visited flood affected areas of Hafizabad, Chiniot and Multan today and inspected relief and medical camps set up for the calamity-hit people. He also met affectees and inquired about their problems. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif reviewed relief and rehabilitation activities during the visit to flood affected areas. He sought information regarding relief and rehabilitation activities in Jhang from Faisalabad through video link. National Highways authorities and other concerned institutions have opened Multan-Muzaffargarh Road for traffic by completing rehabilitation work in 48 hours instead of 72. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the CM congratulated the administration, NHA, Pak Army and concerned institutions for their efforts which resulted in rehabilitation of Multan-Muzaffargarh Road within two days and said other important roads of Punjab should also be rehabilitated with the same speed.

Pind Dadun Khan: A family thanks and appreciates the CM for his prompt response during floods. After rescue and relief phase, the Rehabilitation of affected families is underway; being directly monitored by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on daily basis.
