It’s the realisations it’s strict which is a shock for the westerners Faisal, the country like many others has many flaws and as is rightly said in the article how would the yanks, Brits or Pakistanis react to being turned into a minority in their own land..some restrictions are inevitable especially in an overheated economy like UAE ..the govt is not keeping pace with the changes arounding it…
I’d still say both people wise and generally the Emirates is a better place to live than most Arab countries and many other western+ eastern countries.
