My youngest sis works for..one of the biggest law firm here. So as my other younger sis. My friend's sister is one of the biggest name in in Criminal defence firm in Canada. As per her, criminal defence is quit demanding..and could effect family life as well when comes down to work.
Insurance defence or related matter is quiet big too..so depends where you going i guess and where your interest is. Wish you all the best..Lilly!.
Wow two siblings in Law, interesting. I would like to know what is her firm specialized in? My younger sis just graduated and she is thinking of studying further LLB law but kinda confused what to choose.
Younger one is lawyer by profession and youngest one works as Para-legal. And as i understand it..your younger sis should go where her interest is. Criminal law is big one anywhere.

To be honest, I think you kind of just fall into what area you practise in. I had never thought about insurance law but got the job after graduating and just stuck with it!
my brother has his own legal practice. he was working in a practice before but decided to open his own and now he gets and deals with all cases immigration, family, criminal.
he did not work in firms as they make you work in a particular area and you specialise in that particular area, and he always wanted his own practice. he is doing great and happy with no boss
I've done LLB and LLM in corporate law. In Pakistan criminal law, family law, trade and business law, and corporate law are fast evolving fields with many job opportunities.
However, my focus is on teaching and research, and it is much more flexible for me being married and having a toddler.
So, law is basically a stable career line if you are willing to put in hard work and dedication to pursue your goals.
