i was involved in a car accident back when i was in univ...i was in the front passenger seat, while my room-mate was driving...we were making a left and the light turned amber, so he turned b4 the light could turn red (our right of way) - a car coming from the other direction failed to stop on the red signal cuz that driver was distracted (she had spilled some coffee while driving and wasn't looking at the road/signal)...and to top it off, she was also speeding (doing 80 in a 60 zone)...we got T-boned, and the brunt of the impact was on the passenger side obviously...i had a few cracked ribs, and a dislocated shoulder...nothing as bad as a spinal injury etc, Alhumdulillah...
eventhough I wasn't driving, and my injuries weren't that serious, for the longest time I couldn't make left turns while driving...and if i was the passenger, I would almost panic when the driver of the car would make a left turn :-S
I only got over it with time...but yea, if it had become a more serious problem, i would've gone for therapy to get some help...
