Where did I quote scripture and assert what the Islamic ruling on this is? Apostasy is perhaps the most controversial topic in the muslim world. Of course its due to the majority equating it with treason, and then making up reasons to justify that stance.

If you believe their interpretation of it is wrong, then you should try to persuade them, not me.

People interpret religion in all different manners. Having a debate on interpretation of religion is completely futile for someone who does not believe in that religion.

I’m merely showing the fallacies in the view the majority holds. But yeah go ahead /thread, we can declare your interpretation the one majority holds, and apostasy a completely trivial matter in the muslim world.
