Canines

huh!

Sorry, I just read some posts fully, since the remaining were like a kabaddi match (bad example, I know).

For simple people like me, can you guys just make it simple.

This is what I always thought about dogs:

You can keep them as pets, but you should not keep them inside the home. They can stay outside

Now, is this wrong? I read some scholar who said that if we keep dogs inside the homes, then angels will not come in the house. Don’t know how accurate it is. And secondly, I don’t think touching dogs is wrong. Only once you touch them, then wash your hands before eating or prayers. But then all of you already do that. Right?

Plus, I read a beautiful story in Quran about As-haab-e-Kahaf, where they had a dog. Isn't that correct?

Ibrahim says; salaams to all

PA! you are just too silly , but I guess I am stuck with you and have to entertain your follies. Anyway the blind have to be helped, so let me guide you to see ** IF Allah (swt) so willed it for you. **

similitude

1 a : COUNTERPART, DOUBLE
b : a visible likeness : IMAGE
2 : an imaginative comparison : SIMILE
3 a : correspondence in kind or quality
b : a point of comparison syn see LIKENESS

Now since you have understood what similitude mean’s ( I hope) , when Allah (swt) dislikes one part of that nature in man, the counter part of it is also disliked in the animal which is being compared , one does not have to be a rocket scientist to understand such matters but you are blind, so I have to excuse you.

In this thread, when the verse says “dog” it does not mean “cat” ** it means dog only and not inclusive of all other animals** …get it?

Now read!

6: 38 There is ** not an animal (that lives) on the earth nor a being that flies on its wings but (forms part of) communities like you. ** Nothing have We omitted from the Book and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.

Commentary

"Animals living on the earth" include those living in the water, - fishes, reptiles, crustaceans, insects, as well as four-footed beasts. Life on the wing is separately mentioned. "Tair," which is ordinarily translated as "bird," is anything that flies, including mammals like bats. ** In our pride we may exclude animals from our purview, but they all live a life, social and individual, like ourselves, and all life is subject to the Plan and the Will of God. In vi. 59 we are told that not a leaf falls but by His Will, and things dry and green are recorded in His Book. In other words they all obey His archetypal Plan, the Book which is also mentioned here. They are all answerable in their several degrees to His Plan ("shall be gathered to their Lord in the end").** This is not Pantheism: it is ascribing all life, activity, and existence to the Will and Plan of God.

Ibrahim says: Thus when a dog, donkey, ape and pig is singled out, it means these creations have natures that are disliked by Allah (swt) . By Virtue of this, mankind who love Allah (swt) must also shun them . Any rational person who have observed this animals will have no problem noticing the distinctive ill character these animals have but you are excused.

In addition we are told

2: 65 And well ye knew those ** amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath; We said to them: "Be ye apes despised and rejected."**

Thus even some Jews had been transformed into monkeys by Allah (swt) for breaking the sabaath.

Again we are told…………..

5:60 Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? ** Those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine those who worshipped Evil;** these are (many times) worse in rank and far more astray from the even Path!

Ibrahim says: Thus some human beings have been turned into apes and pigs too for worshipping evil .

Now go back to my first post to note how some people have been turned into dogs at some time in the past for something they had done. ( albeit from corrupted sources)

Thus some animals are clearly detested for their nature and when man err or come close to that nature they have been transformed into such beings by Allah (swt) as per His wishes.

Now, If you cannot understand all this,** do not worry, you just have not reached that level yet and you may NEVER reach it until you accept the Prophet (pbuh) as your guide. **

Further more stop lying, Allah (swt) will put hypocrisy into your heart as a punishment for those who lie in this planet.

Animals are animals. They behave the way they behave. They don't think or decide. It's HUMAN BEINGS who decide. And when they fail to decide correctly, that's when Allah compares them to different Animals with different natures. All you want to understand from these verses is how to ostracize poor animals rather than fathom the real message the verses convey.
Ibrahim says Another silly comment, read again the verse I quoted above, naw.. you are blind so let me quote again

6: 38 There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth nor a being that flies on its wings but (forms part of) communities like you. ** Nothing have We omitted from the Book and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.**

Animals live just like us in their communities on this planet but they are subject to our control after Prophet Nuh’s (pbuh) time frame. For in the time of Prophet Adam (pbuh) the animals were FREE and not to be eaten by man and they must have been having the capability to communicate with man too at that time frame.

This capability of communication between man and beasts. has been removed after the flood and they became subject to our will and we were given permission to eat them too at that point and time.

But animals do have their own social norms amongst themselves and also have play and quarrels too. Not only do they THINK, they also worship Allah (swt) in the ways taught to them by Allah (swt). They even migrate and even cultivate ( ants)
could you please spare me these absurdities and just tackle the message like an adult?
Ibrahim says: Oh really! And you are an adult? that is news to me, because you are the one who tries to slander others who have been blessed to be present amongst the Prophet (pbuh) even in a thread which has NO relevance to that subject whatsoever. That PA is not the works of an adult .
Now i've heard everything! Clearly shows you have never been around cats, or any other animal for that matter. What animal blushes and stops 'doing it' in the presence of people?? Is the sky blue in your world??
Ibrahim says; very silly indeed because my home is also a home for stray cats in my neighborhood and my children love the many kittens this stray cats deliver in my very home and seldom does one see the cats in action. So much for your wisdom.
No I sure don't. I do not see ANY instruction that asks us to shun the animal. An animal that catches the prey which you eat, an animal which guards your farm, your sheep, is your guide when you go blind, and stays loyal to you throughout his life is not to be shunned.
Ibrahim says: I am sure you do not see because you cannot see and that is not my fault. It is your lack of wisdom and your blind desire to reject prophetic teachings that has blinded you.
What you have agreed to so far is that we can keep a dog so it can catch prey for us.. and/or guard our house or sheep or farm and we are to be kind towards it. Which means feeding it and taking care of it.
Now forgive me if I'm wrong.. short of sleeping with him, isn't this animal your pet already?
Ibrahim says: a pet ?? what a silly person you seem to be! , you don’t even know what pet means and you want to argue about what Allah (swt) approved or disapproved ??

** pet **

1 a : a pampered and usu. spoiled child
b : a person who is treated with unusual kindness or consideration : DARLING
2 : ** a domesticated animal kept for pleasure rather than utility**

DO I NEED TO EXPLAIN FURTHER???
Once again I don't. If according to you an impure and 'najas' animal catches prey.. how could it be 'halaal' for you? You will NEVER be able to answer that Mr. Ibrahim. Face it, what if this hound is black! Oh dear.. what a problem for you now. The devil incarnate dog is hunting for you and Allah has declared the prey it catches with it's "najas-for-you-teeth" and "impure- drool" to be halaal!!. What a dilemma for you Mr. Ibrahim, follow Allah or Follow your idols?
Ibrahim says: Are you so foolish to deny what Allah (swt) ordained?

Read!

5: 4 They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food): say: Lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: ** and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah; eat what they catch for you but pronounce the name of Allah over it:** and fear Allah; for Allah is swift in taking account.

DO YOU UNDERSATND ? ?

BTW PA, people do not eat feathers and skin, they normally eat only the meat after cleaning the bird or animal and cooking it but in your case we need to make exceptions.

Snipped the rest of your warped assertions and follies, seems you have incurable blindness in scared matters and one can only pray that Allah (swt) will have mercy on you some time soon before it is too late.

Was salaam
Ibrahim

*THINK! It may be a new experience for you PA! *

Well, canines are a type of teeth.

You know, incisors, canines and molars...
