I think while scorpios are protective, cancerians are more NURTURING of family. Secondly, scorpios won’t make their need for security so obvious as a cancerian will. Scorpios in fact will seem stoic and together though they do require emotional security as well (who doesnt) but a cancerian is more needy about it.
