and why not, hindi's a beautiful sounding language :). If most people in Maharashtra don't support shiv sena then why do they keep getting voted back into office. Is it some sort of godfather type deal where they stay in office for as long as the thackeray family stays alive?
Hindi is a beautiful language, but the problem is Hindi speakers. Hindi speakers never learn a third language. like Marathi, Kannada, Telugu speakers. Hindi speakers expect Non-Hindi speakers to speak fluent Hindi. I feel Hindi speakers are ignorant about Non Hindi culture. At least they should attempt to learn the language of the state they are settling in.
The problem is now in Mumbai. This will happen in Bangalore sooner or later. Kannada Chaluvali folks like Vatal Nagaraj must be waiting for opportunity.
