Hussain Shah of Lyari won the sole medal for Pakistan at the Seoul olympaid in 1988. And that was too only a bronze!

Only 21 atheletes are taking part from Pakistan and out of them there are 16 hockey players.

Indeed Pakistan boxers have failed to qualify for olympics for the first time. Pakistan has only qualified for hockey and taking part in shooting, swimming and atheletics on wild card entry.

about 10 years ago they had this stupid rule that in one weight category only 6 boxer will participate from whole of asia.

First in 1960: In wrestling by Muhammad Bashir
Second in 1988: In boxing by Hussain Shah

Pakistan: 16 hockey players, 2 athletes, 2 swimmers, 1 shooter plus 14 officials in various guises. So 2 officials for every 3 sportsmen - great!

BTW zero medals fo r Pak and probably India too.
