Love is an emotion…not a way of thinking. People under the influence of emotions tend to act and behave differently then when they are sober.

Is it fair to even ask him to convert…not out of faith but because it’s what you want? What if he changes his mind later? I’ve seen that happen…

Well… If someone is converting his/her religion just to get merried to a muslim …then the person should think twice about it.But If someone has converted with his own will without any condition , then there is no harm to marry him. (In my opinion)
