lol. i am not a phone person. i am very kanjoos person when it comes to phone cuz its very expensive here…even receiving a sms charges me. 
When I have the fone next to me, no one calls.. when I step away from it I come back to 14 missed calls! I usually leave the fone on my side-table.. and roam around the house and get to hear the same "jab fone uthana nahin hai toh liya kyun?"
same situation here.
I dont wear those phone clips/belt thingy that guys wear so I dont have the phone on me. When I am out the phone is in my bag so by the time I dig it out Ive missed the call. When I am at hone I either have the phone in my car or on the side table by my bed as well.

Sometimes I don’t know why I pay for a phone considering I almost never answer it!
Mostly I text - so I can skip all the pointless hello-hi-how-are-you talk.
As for voice messages, I also don’t check them unless I get a text from someone saying, “I couldn’t leave a message, your voicemail is full”.
Let’s not even go to calling people back. :halo:

Im not a phone person at all...dont like answering the damn thing even if I have nothing to do and its ringing in front of my face. I dont like talking for hours, dont gossip, etc. Like SU, I text message A LOT.
However, someone once said that anyone in life can be about 50% more successful by simply returning phone calls. People appreciate that.

Sometimes I’ll call back, other times I won’t.
I leave it on.
If I don’t want to take their call at the moment, I’ll just ignore it or just turn off the phone.
There are actually times when I want people to do that (in these cases I’m not picking up the phone because I’ve left it somewhere where I can’t find it right away). There have been times when people only got me to pick up after many times.
Otherwise, if I’m not taking the call because I don’t want to at that particular time, then I just turn off the phone.
You’ll never know until you call back. There have been times when it was a useful call but I just didn’t recognize the number.
I usually get calls from numbers I don't recognize, but realize later that it's sumone in town. In Dubai, u never know who shows-up..

here in the U.S when you get an unknown number.....the number is just that unknown...meaning the number does not show up.

No one calls me with unknown numbers…
Once one gal called me, infact she kept on callin me for like 20-25 times, only answered her phone once nd thats it, didnt talk to her after that… Later on i found out that the gal was frm my school nd she liked me and wanted to asked me out 
… I dont knw how she got my number maybe one of my m8 gave it to her …
Wasiey ppl dont call me with uknwn numbers now days, nd if someone do than i asnwer it but i dont speak until the person on the other end say something …nd if i knw who it is than i talk nd if not than i ignore

on my office mobile phone?, yes - I do not want to loose my job.
on my personal mobile phone?, yes - who knows, it might be even be a long lost friend.

office mobile phone?, no - part of the company policy, infact it clearly stated (in bold letters) in my Job Description.
personal mobile phone?, yes - or else my friends would keep bugging me all night!, dumb@ss rich folks with nothing to do.

frustrating but hell thats part of my job!, hate it when I have to deal with grumpy business men with more money then brains. 
Perhaps it’s diff in the US/UK but, what I mean to say by the term “unknown number” is a NUMBER that’s unknown to you! One that’s not saved on u’re fonebook and one u don’t recognize..
For etisalat subscribers it comes as an “unidentified number” and NO u can’t call back on those sigh

If I don't know the number, I let the voicemail pickup.
I leave my phone on but put it to vibrate.
Depends on the situation..I may or maynot pickup.
That's my husband. He'll keep calling until I answer the phone. I do get frustrated sometimes, but he wants to feel important to, you know? :D

1) Nop. These days, UK I am talking abt, the advertisement companies have started to put in calls by fake mobile numbers,u call back, they charge many fivers off u
2) Switch it off, coz if I get disturbed in sleep, I cant relax for hrs and hrs
3)Pick it up, speak to the other person, let them know that I am busy or will speak to them later
4) Speak to them basically. Coz it turns out to be something really really important to be informed about, otherwise I havent got any unnecessary calls as faras I recall
