baqi Commercial Markt say aap ko khaany kay leay bahut achi chaat mill jay gi..aur uger quality dresses layna hoon tu Sadar aur haaan may be aap ko layna purain as u mentioned in the end..tu Muree Road pay bahut saari achi shops hain… aur Raja Bazaar, Sudder main bhi…

I cant help but totally totally agree with that… Quite a lot of yur young adult cousins will be majorly fun loving and some of them will have trust of the elders… Thats yur way out of Uncles and Aunties…

Although the original plans were for me to ‘do’ Pakistan by myself, things aren’t looking too good. Just spent the last 2 weeks trying to persuade my parents, but they’re having none of it. They’re like ‘Whats wrong with Gujar Khan …’ Urm nothing i guess, but lets just say it isn’t really world renowned as ‘the place to be’.
Also i’m absolutely dreading visiting relatives cuz its gonna be like ‘Marry my son’ ‘marry my nephew’ ‘marry my grandson’ ‘marry my daughter’ etc etc etc. I really can’t be doing with that riught now. I just want them to show me pure affection, not affection on the grounds that i marry some1 they want me to.
I’m gonna have so many problems trusting pple there
Sobi - why fight the proposals? Just ignore them, be non responsive, unenthusiastic, procrastinate, say you need to speak with ... invent someone who is unavailable to anyone except you.
It might be nice if you had a travelling companion. Any friends game for the trip?

I bet you’ll have that sort of problem what ever you do so find out ways to enjoy(some How)rather then trying to find ways to run away from them.
And for the visiting do make sure to visit NathiaGali and DongaGali as said before in here. Without a doubt they are amongst the most beautiful places that you can find in Pakistan.

never knew that we're pract. neighbours. Our pind is also not far from Gujar Khan.
If you want to see the real life in a village you have to stay at least a few weeks. People have to get used to you.
This is a very good time to visit rural Punjab cos of the local elections. As others here can tell you better election time is very interesting and entertaining. People grab the elections to meet and hang out.
I will be in our pind to see all that in July.
Concerning places to see :
aap para market, comm. market, blue area, Skkar Parrian etc etc..............very boring.....if u see one, you've seen them all.
Murree, Kaghan and the valleys are worth a few days.

I’d love to go this June, as soon as my uni finishes but my parents keep telling me that it’s going to be way too hot so i might just leave it till September. Either way, I’m definitely going to stay for a good three months after which (i hope to) visit the rest of Pakistan.
In all honesty, i know i always take the piss but i’m really looking forward to it - especially the milking the cows bit
