Its taken a long time to do on Paint and it is not anywhere near as good as my hand drawn version but still I think it is very good effort.
It is not only my name but the caligraphic writting is highly sytlised to show a crouching tiger and the words are a mix of Arabic script and Turkic, it bears my name beneath the words “Assad Allah al Ghalib” which are taken directly from the Koran and refer to Allah’s Lion/Tiger will always be victorious.
It is a bit bombastic but I like it very much as it sums up a lot about me…
I love this experiment with paint and thanks to all you guys and especially LKK for the inspiration of working with Paint… the more I practice with this relatively new medium the better I will get Insha Allah.
I heard that **Jo 2saro ke liyeh aasani paida karta hy Allah SWT us ke liyeh aasani paida kartain hain. **U point is just like hitting nails on head. I agree and now i’ll gonna opne two polls threads (1) computer generate handwriting (2) original handwriting
After 8 attempts of practicing I have made my paint Tugr’ almost as good as my hand drawn version
Too bad i cannot upload my hand work, I am going to try a different camera over the weekend and see if I can get some snapshots of my had made caligraphy too… as you can tell I’m too old and a real techno-phobe.
You think spot on as always. Yes the Tigers stripes in the centre are made up of the Koranic verse, while the body itself is my name… okay it’s very bombastic but hell it’s still very awe inspiring and I have used that symbol for years…
Mind you I am bot the first. Tipu Sultan used it too, as did many Turkic and Arab as well as Persian warlords, princes and emperors. The Panthera fammily of beasts are long used in Caligraphy. Theres a really nice one depicted outside Data Darbar… or at least there used to be.
