Oh YES! Mamma's khichri is very hard to beat. The daal and rice are always so perfectly cooked <3

Ummm, actually Hadeel Bhaijan, the orange daal, more commonly known as masoor ki daal, IS used in kichri, especially in Hyderabadi cooking which is the bestest food ever!
