Re: By their mantra of ‘Change’ politicians mean status quo
You would think that people would be more concerned about Obama miserably failing fulfill his promise of ‘Change’ despite being in his second term than chastising a nine month old totally newbie Provincial government. Oh dear…
Anyway. This is how legislative democracy works. PTI is building a lasting administrative, functional foundation in KPK, that is the change, It’s been just over nine months and so far they have been on the track. The ambitious projects they have signed will take maximum of one to two and even three years to complete. Its unfortunate that we don’t get many people from KPK and FATA posting here and sharing their experiences. Our only source of news is sorry papers like Dawn.
In all honesty, skeptics who didn’t even believe in PTI’s mantra of change to begin with should be the last one pretending to care about it. Such people should tell themselves that PTI was destined to fail and it is failing, so end of story and just be happy. Let the concerned citizens and well wishers of Pakistan appreciate the much needed reforms taking place in education, police, environment, health, energy etc.
If anyone gets any pleasure by calling PTI supporters Jiyalas then allow them. Who cares? At least I don’t. Cannot be bothered to take offence in such things.
