normally it is advised not to buy gifts for colleagues.
but if professional understanding is there and personally a nice friendship, as well.
then, buying something for the office such as a planner or pen, book ends or table clock, a vase, a box of chocolate or a book will do.
in case of wedding gift, a peg set or a crystal or lenox dish for decor.
in case of a baby's birth, some gift for the baby, clothes or interactive, age appropriate educational toys.
