I agree that is the one thing that I found a little one dimensional about the book as well. I just finished reading tipping point and liked it, would recommend the book to people especially in product/service development and marketing and strategy world, but a good read for planners in any discipline really.
I have heard about resource wars, I may be confusing it with a different book, is this the one focusing on natural resources or human resources?
