Sarah, you are only 17 years old but too mature for your age. I wonder what your star is? To be honest at your age I was more concentrated on my school activites and all other things did not interested me. I had a simple life and now its seems complicated but at that time I was not worried about things like what people say or do. If You dont like it that people around you like your parents or cousins or family boss you around or tell you to do things that you dont want or accept, in this case you have a choice then leave home why are you still there if your life is miserable with your parents. You want a chance in life you want to be independent, you want to live the life you want, so whats stopping you, go ahead and do so. Telling us how bad and narrow minded everyone here is and how much missunderstood you are everywhere will not solve your problem in anyway, but its seem that its frustating you even more. You yourself have to take actions. But the price is high. Parents seem cruel but they only want the best for you. I would also advise do speak with them if you dont do so often. Do not think that everyone has the same pattern of thinking. One more thing if you seek to be understood then you have to understand other people too.
