Hi. I'm just updating that our plans have been approved with the City. Now we have a structural engineer looking over the plans. We're tearing down the whole house including the foundation. So we have to dig a foundation, pour concrete, the whole mess.
We also rethought the whole 'box store' situation. And found Lowe's products aren't that bad. Their line of Schuler kitchen cabinetry is very nice. We might consider it. Although I just got an even better bid from a local custom cabinet maker.
I'm finding invaluable information on gardenweb.com. I usually google any question I have, add 'gardenweb' onto the end of it and find so much info. I'm learning in this process.
