Apart from scorpions, centipedes are the only bugs I feel hesitant in taking panga with. Creepy creatures, they both. 
I lurvvv snakes though.

I have experienced Islamabad during late summer months like August . Oh my god, that place turns into hell , bug wise ! they come out in full force in every shape and form .. you cant even kill them coz the more your kill the more they come :no:

I ramaamber the time when we were visiting Pakistan and my mom took us to spend a night or two at nani’s home. We all slept (or tried to) on the chath/roof under the stars. My sister is a magnet for mosquitos so we bought Mospel for her. The directions said to apply everywhere except the mouth. We did that…only to have the mosquitos attack her on that same location. 
Mospel did not deliver.

My son had the worst life threatening allergic reaction to spider bite when he was 9 months old. NO RISKS with spiders

Taking of bugs, this time when I rented a Studio in Montreal, it was full of bed bugs. They started their work after 3/4 days, at first I tried to use sprays on the mattress to get rid of them but then quickly found another place and moved there to live peacefully. Man those bites hurt a lot all day long.

I just grab anything I can like a book and slam it on the bug. Unless it’s flying like a bee, then it’s a fight till the death.

i lure them out of my house by playing the flute then ask the neighborhood kids to have a field day participating in mass murder of insects.
