Britney sucks. And I'm a heterosexual guy, so don't call me jealous or anything. Come on, I wouldn't be biased if I said that she is a retarded bimbo who represents everything that is tacky and contrived in the world. Girls like her have no musical talent and can be likened more to the girls in strip clubs.
The best thing for her to do would be to join the porn industry and leave the real musicians to save music.
All she ever sings about is love and sex. That's it. So either she is a cheap whore, or she has no brain for writing creative lyrics. Or she is exploiting the fact that sex sells and is just a businesswoman. I actually think it's all three.

There is now less and less difference between the antics of dance routines in modern Indian films, and one of Britney’s videos.
Whilst we might view the former as an innocent, culturlly acceptable form of harmless form of entertainment, you can not escape the fact that Britney does much the same thing, for much the same reasons.

Yes, it's obvious that modern pop has descended into a mess of selling sex (or lusty ideas at least) and also a form of entertainment for Townies (or was it always like that?). Unfortunately millions of people love it. There must be something wrong/abnormal with either them or me. Does majority rule count in this case?
I do believe that pop music was once bearable. Unfortunately that time was rather a long way before I was born.
And yes, the logical thing to do would be to just avoid pop and forget about fake plastic dolls with wallets that weigh even more than you do, wide brother. But I can't. Pop is everywhere. There is no other music ANYWHERE in the UK. TV, magazines, radio, awards ceremonies, web sites....everything has been keeled over to the commercial attraction and profit-making promise of pop music. You will remember well that I don't have MTV2, or even MTV USA, so there isn't much of a release for me.

Why do u presume that everyone who criticizes Britney or any other celebrity for that matter is jealous? There are still some people out there who know how to distinguish between right and wrong.
i think its all very demeaning. She’s what, aroud 20? its disgusting to see a young girl being viewed as a sexual object by all kinds of men. I mean admit it, she has no real singing talent. Its all about how she’s marketed and the celebrity thing. If a desi girl was to go around half naked we’d be calling her names but its okay to see, admire and idolize all that hollywood filth? makes perfect sense why all of this is haraam in Islam.

The fact remains, she is kinda crappy (in my opinion). I am very happy that she won a grand total of no awards whatsoever at the People's Choice Ceremoney. Hopefully those awards went to people who really did deserve them.
