british Gupistanies

Re: british Gupistanies

Oh my Goodness, Dada Abaa...Ive banned all 'mericans..... BUT as you are my token member Dadaa Jee you can come and I will pretend that you had to come to escort Minah!

Dada, would you like your food to be mashed up....im thinking of your lack of teeth;)

And thankyou for enquiring about my health
I very well thankyou.

Re: british Gupistanies

this thread is so going to cafe. :frowning:

Thanks… want some pakorai?

PS: by the way what this teaparty is about?

Re: british Gupistanies

Reloaded, last week we had a few nasty things aimed at brits...Things like they cant washup and other equally hurtful comments by the 'merricans who frequent this site.... anyway I just wondered where the brits were, who they were.... and whether they have a particular time they come out to play on Gupshup

Re: british Gupistanies

LD I am from cardiff. :D

Re: british Gupistanies

^^^ Prove it ..talk in a scottish accent

Re: british Gupistanies

Tea party with American's?

what have you done Lady Daisy? they'l want to drink coffee and eat muffins. ew

Re: british Gupistanies

Dammit... it's rude to take cheap shots at people over team, if minah joins the tea party I'll have to keep mum about Americans :(

Re: british Gupistanies

Daisy dear… reloaded has a point, we must have a topic in order to stay in general… something to discuss over tea. Also, my husband had enough of a time adjusting to Umer  that your telling people Dada was escorting me would have me locked in a closet for about a year or so. My husband tells me that that is an utterly acceptable way for a Pashtun to treat his wife.

Hmmm, no chocolate please, I wore a bathing suit this weekend and realized that this past winter I just may have indulged enough… coffee is fine, thanks, black.

Dada - Would it help to say that I even missed you? Come to the 'merican corner, since it seems we are the token 'mericans. You are my favoritist person since giving me that link to some of the drama Pakistan has to offer (I mean besides what is offered here, of course).

Re: british Gupistanies

i know! we’l have to explain words such as “minger” “nit wit” “totty” and “diamond geezer” and so forth.

That could be our topic over tea and scones, the beauty of British English.

Re: british Gupistanies

Tell you what minah. Join us for tea and let us revel in mocking the Canadians together ;)

Re: british Gupistanies

minger - Northern lass
nit wit - Northern guy
“totty”- Southern girl
“diamond geezer” - Southern Guy

:hula:

Re: british Gupistanies

LOL!

thats the southern dictionary! and let me tell you, you little raji that its incorrect.

but bless, thats the first time you'v ever made me laugh Maddy, thanks.

Re: british Gupistanies

bows with a flourish

Re: british Gupistanies

Maddy - Thank you for translating.

M_M - if northern lass is all it means, then everything is fine :) You could have spoken of that and I would have been clueless (until Mad_Scientist whispered in my ear that is). And also, I prefer tea, but Daisy enjoys coffee and I know she has a good cuppa in the percolator as we speak, so may as well take advantage.

So, we just had a long weekend due to our yearly celebration of liberation from some tyrant country (that will remain nameless) and I had an absolute ball. How was everyone else's weekend?

Re: british Gupistanies

yeh blush away petal, cos technically you called me a minger, now you must prepare your face for a lot of bruising :bailan:

Minah, luv, i have no issues with you. Your Irish are you not? You can come, but no Americans.
Maddy was not born in Britain and niether does he live here now, he knows not of what he speaks. He lived in the south and that unfortunately messed him good and proper, he now lives in Canada by choice!- thats says a lot about his character, i would not trust him if i were you Minah.

Re: british Gupistanies

Minah…your husband has got totally wrong ( i guess living all those years amongst the 'merricans addled his mind)
Why lock Your woman in a closet…its nonsense

you should lock your womenfolk away in the kitchen where they can do something useful like washing cleaning and ironing!

Re: british Gupistanies

smiles aren’t we better then that? I mean its not our way to throw mud on others and laugh with arrogance. after all they adopted everything from us even the language. what they did to the accent and grammer is somthing different.

Re: british Gupistanies

Pretty good weekend. Canada was celebrating how it was peacefully given independence by a generous and kind country (that will remain nameless).

Spent two days with family, one pleasant evening at a barbeque, one odd late night where I was the only guy invited to a girls night and I left feeling rather girly, and then spent all day Sunday dozing.

Fun times :nuch:

Dammit… the girliness hasn’t worn off yet :frowning:

Re: british Gupistanies

Maddy and M-M for once! can both of you put aside this Northeren and Southeren thing!

PS: we Southeners are better :P

Re: british Gupistanies

stop being such a scotchi reloaded, we'r just taking the mick. Anyway, if your really from the North, join in!! :D
