I am sure ak47 that you have studied some statistics. Of 800 muillion hindus I am sure some are anti-muslim, anti-christain anti-whatever. That proves nothing. You cannot conclude based on that hindus are anti-muslim. I grew up a hindu in India in a major city and our contacts with muslims were cordial. We never questined their right to live in India.
You are surely confusing a much largely spread dislike of Pakistan among Indian hindus which I must point out is reciprocated heartily by Pakistanis. The very insistence of Pakistani guppies in maligning all hindus as anti-muslims who caused Gijarat and Babro masjid shows a lack of understanding of India and its people. Hindus are not prefect but I strongly feel they have shown a lot more tolerance towards religious minorities than, lets say Pakistanis have towards theirs. Karachi and Quetta atakcs on shias are a telling example.

This hatred goes both ways, beleive me, I have friends Hindus, Muslims, Christians and Used to have Jewish friends in school but lost touch with them, I clearly felt the enemosity toward one an other. Muslims, especialy Pakistanis don't like to mix up with non-muslims. Hindus would mix up with anybody BUT muslims. Hindus (don't take me wrong,, NOT all Hindus) love to belittle Muslims in front of white people and people from other faith. common Christians feel ill at eas when dealing with Muslims mostly because how Media protrays Muslims in general.
Jews don't even talk to any body other than Christians outside work.
NOW, this doesn't mean that you can simply generalise all these religions.

You have still not shown me where I equated those extremist organisations to all hindus. so next time get your facts straight before accusing others of things you assume they mean.
Hindus dismantled a disputed Babri structure and it followed destruction of temples and riots in South Asia. Only if Hindus had reacted the same way all over the centuries when their holy places were destroyed by Muslim invaders! No, Hindus did not react that way. And I do not wish them to react or retaliate that way.
Hindus are not so fanatic after their worship places.
Personally being a Hindu I feel shame for Gujarat riots. And I am sure that after those black days many Hindus feel the same way. Unfortunately I have to meet a single Muslim who can say the same for Muslims who do wrong doings all around the world.

In India one can write against Hindu religion and nothing will happen, but any book written against Islam is immediately banned, because our political setup does not want to offend the minority Muslim community.
India was the first to ban ‘Satanic verses’ and recently ‘Lajja’ was banned.

I think you are misunderstanding my posts. I am not saying all hindus anti muslim i agree with you some of them are. Just you made quote that hindus dont have anthing against islam and muslims and we both agree that some do that is all.
You should not fall into similar mindset that many of the right wing amerikkans on guppshup do when they think the posts which criticize amerikkan foriegn policy is directed at them personally, it is not it is directed at there government.
