dude I found some awesome pcs @ this exhibition they gave their clothes to,I dunno what time the other gal who said everything was over 18 went and what she saw but I've been 2 the last 2 or three exhibitisons, n their cheaper stuff goes in like the first hour and not a single piece that'snot nice. THEYRE AMAZING,this time I went at starting time, the cottons and all were all under 10,000 even though they were selling the stuff through another shop this time (these other shops charge commission so i thought itwould be more expensive.,especially Ensemble since it onlykeeps the best designers.) there were some super fun cuts n unusual decorations. only the silky type formal type stufff was above 15. i got 2 cotton shirts both around 8-8500 each. and out of formals this really cool one for my sister's nikah for around 20 and another for the dholki in 18.5 thouand but they were both silky materials and formal finish,AMAZING finish,i can totally wear them to wedding functions with more jewellery. alll the outfits I picked up got sold out while I was there though.I'm all set with all my outfits now So excited!!i've been seeing their clothes for 5 years or sumthing and whenever i see their clothes on anyone they always stand out, I've seen a lot of modern work and unusual cuts and these stunning decorational things NOOONE does yet! it is a pity they dont put up pictures! my friend got her bridal and some formals from them and they are all delicious. and i tell you, only similarity to Banto is that the quality is awesome and they use a lot of hand work on shadi cloths not this machine u see everwyehrre, i'll ask my friend if can share pics here.
Plz do share other designers information too,I'm researching for new designers, i'm a clothes fanatic!
Just came back from my formals appointment, and I'm sorry to say I was disappointed again. Not with their clothes, but with their professionalism, or lack thereof. I had made my appointment about a a couple of weeks back, and finally when I went today I ended up getting greeted by the receptionist and a young girl who I'm sure is just kept for ironing the clothes or something. They proceeded to tell me that both Menahel and Mehreen were unavailable, and could I please re-schedule my appointment. I was livid as to why they couldn't tell me this earlier, and they said that they wanted to show me around and show me the clothes meanwhile. Which would have not been so bad, except they didn't know anything! I have yet to know the price of a single jora there, whenever I would ask the price they would just look at one another and shrug their shoulders. UGH! The clothes were really beautiful, but for the formals (as in something that I can wear as a newlywed bride, or to a wedding), they were all quoted to me as being "at least over 1 lakh". So at least according to my budget they're not all that affordable. The casual and semi-formal stuff was okay, too casual for my taste and what I need right now. I left without making another appointment because it's drives me INSANE when I make an appointment and the designers don't show up and don't call and let me know to cancel. I refused to work with Faiza Samee for the same exact reason. So let's see if I get in touch with them in the future.
I'm really shocked to hear that since I've been going to Menahel and Mehreen for about three years now and not once have been disappointed by their service or their professionalism. Since I am one of their regular customers I've been to them several times over this year and have also been attended by that young girl. I think she's new there but a really sweet girl nonetheless. Infact once I had gone for my formal appointment and was showed around by her since the two of them weren't there. She didn't reveal any prices which did frustrate me a bit even but thier work is very personalised so I get it now why the two of them must be present. Although I agree with you that the two sisters need to stop cancelling their appointments
I really feel that you need to be little less judgemental and give them another shot. They are pretty good.

That is very disappointing! They should have somebody who can cancel appointments and lets clients know as need be. No matter how personalized anybodys work putting a price tag on it is not rocket science! unless ofcourse ur charging ppl depending on how much you can get out of them, which again is totally unethical. :(

And i find it fishy that M&M dont like their work posted online!
there could be two reasons:
1) there work is really unique, they dont want it copied
2) they copy other designers!
I could be wrong but i dont know why i think its reason number 2!
In my opinion, the services of menahel and mehreen aren't impressive. The are ridiculously booked and that was extremely disheartening! I wanted to place my bridal order with them (i called in feb this year) and told them the wedding is in December and the sales representative told me "sorry we're booked till March next year!!! I mean hello! Not the top designers like HSY or Karma or any of the rest are that tightly booked! Maybe they're just imposing attitude! Total thumbs down!
I went to Menahel and Mehreen a couple of weeks ago and i must say i was very disappointed! I didn't like a single formal and they were massively overpriced. Their formals start at 85. 000 (these were the simple ones, the heavy one’s are for 1 lakh)!! and they said that they've raised their bridal prices to 4 lakh at least! She showed me two bridals and my first thought was that these guys are coping bunto! i've seen VERY similar dresses in the bunto tread.
also, i later found out that either mehreen or menahel did an intership at bunto's and got all of bunto's contacts for kaam wala ect and then started her own thing using the same people.
IMO, if you can afford a 4 lakh bridal you might as well go to bunto or dr. haroon. these guys are not worth it.
