i dont think they are of Pakistani decent..i know this family through friends, i think (not sure) that the bride is from some other country (but is Muslim)…and members of the bride’s party were all wearing short skirts and dresses at the mehndi…

Yeah they're from Turkey i believe. I actually didn't wanna put up pictures of her mom and the mini skirts but oh whatever you guys do have an idea now :) Well maybe the concept of beauty is different in their part of the world. The girl herself is usually clad in mini skirts and low necklines and it works for her, to each their own....

In my opinion what sucks more than the cleavage showing is that someone made her cover it up like this through some part of the function…

Oh yes! She is indeed a very pretty bride but im sure even in their part of the world whether Pakistani, Irani, Bangladeshi, Turkish etc. a low cleavage on a muslim bride, no matter how modern she is, is a no no. I agree with you, the covering part is even more embarassing. She would have made a fantastic bride if she had pinned her shirt a little higher some how. Nonetheless, her make up is awesome and she looks very pretty.

i think they covered her up for the nikkah. i saw a picture in some magazine with the prime minister there for the nikkah.

The neckline still goes wayy deeper than the necklace, the necklace was gonna show anyway lol

^I saw one set recently at mahfooz jewelers... Not sure how to explain but it was like the stones had a pin and a stopper(like an earring) and they could be taken out and attached to the set like that... It came in many colors I was pretty fascinated!

That is a fascinating idea! Never heard of it before. I wish more jewelers would come up with designs like these.
