kundan zari is a kind of fabric dat is pure not synthetic n it looks like tissue kind of stiff till nt died…before dieing its in white off white colour with silver or golden zari in it..hilal silk n al raheem banarsi both hv kundan zari suits… the cream piece under the yoke is kundan zari fabric dat isnt dyed

Great description. Also, when u dye it comes out lighter than the shade you want due to the gold threads heavily embedded in the fabric.
