The picture has been published in all the major newspapers and shown on all the major channels on TV here in Pakistan, and was released by the girl's father in their memory. So I don't think it's a problem.
Yes, but posting it in a thread devoted to critiquing bridal wear is still in incredibly poor taste.
^with respect to this couple, i personally feel their picture shouldnt be posted. someone might look past the part that their lives were tragically lost and go into commentary about the pic. we should only give them respect and our prayers.
where does it say that u have to critique brides in this thread????
Because isn't that the purpose of this thread? to look at pictures and pass commentary that may or may not be complimentary.
Anyway, there may be someone who didn't know and would pass a terribly mean (oh sorry.....just being brutally "honest" ;)) comment about the couple... wlel now that wouldn't be nice. ;)
Exactly. Which is why people shouldn’t get so incredibly offended when someone says that posting pictures of a couple who just died under very tragic circumstances in a bridalwear thread is in poor taste.
Anyways, Hillary Clinton’s Pakistani aide, Huma Abedin, got married to Congressman Anthony Weiner last month. There’s only one picture available, but I think she looked beautiful. She wore very traditional emerald studded Hyderabadi jewelry with a cream colored wedding gown by Oscar de la Renta. The heavy gold embroidery and beading goes with her jewelry so well that I initially assumed the dress was a fusion piece by an Indian/Pakistani designer when I first saw the pictures.
