i hava problemm plz help me out....wen i sav som pics frm flickr.com they r not gettin saved in ma laptop...these files r GIF files so may b thats y...i save them n wen i see the saved pic i see a background dats black witha white tiny speck in the center

thats cuz the owner of the pic hasnt given you the rights to save that picture ... the only way to go about it is through the print-screen command.
pictures with no magnifying-glass symbol on top of them, they are the ones you cant save. the ones with the magnifying-glass, you can save.

Wow, her outfit and jewellery is lovely. Does anyone know where I could find something similiar online to purchase?? I have been looking for that kind of necklace for ages - it would go perfectly with my valima lengha

You could always save them via 'prnt scrn' button on your keyboard? It takes a shot of your screen and you can paste the screen shot in Paint>Crop>save. I always do this, especially when they have copyright-related reasons.
