i’d say so! look at this one, for example- ridiculously airbrushed! and badly too- look how disproportionate her torso is! no one is that thin!

^ no its definitely not that. not only is her torso very thin, because really, unless she has a humpback, there's very little back missing- but she's also been stretched out to appear taller.
i think there is some missing because of the light though, you can tell it's been washed out all the way up to the neck. But regardless, the photo effects give off a very unrealistic impression of the outfits.

In regards to the SS picture, the "light" (it's just been whitewashed over) is obscuring part of the view of the back but like SGC said, the torso has been stretched.
Look at how low her chest is from her shoulders. Not only that but there has been some serious airbrushing in the tummy region, no one has a perfect curve like that.
The whole look is completely unnatural. I don't know why designers think this is a good way to show their products.
