Just wondering, if anyone has seen a very hideous wedding dress and the bride or her family boost about it costs, while it is apparent that it isn't as expensive as they are boosting? Why do people do that? Although I don't condone telling any bride that her dress isn't up to par or pretty. But why boost about its cost?

I've seen some designer dresses that are hideous but still cost alot of $$...so maybe it did cost that much?..I didn't get to pick out my own wedding dress, but everyone said that it cost 1 lakh. I still suspect that was the price they quoted and they bargained it down to much much less. Sometimes its REALLY obvious, that a dress could not have costed anywhere near what it was bragged about.
Personally, I always downplay the cost of everything (my husband doesnt know my $2 earrings cost $5...my mom thinks my $45 saree was $20..etc. etc lol )

anyway if its fake tell everyone its fake, if it costs $1000 tell everyone it costs $1000.

I just dont think measuring someone's integrity through their clothes or jewelery...makes the person any better...We see alot of people judging others on whether they wear real jewelery or fake jewelery or shop at the cheap store rather than the expensive designer store....:)

^ i dont think thats the case, its not about what you wear, but the lying part is a turn off..which makes you not want to associate with such people..i would rather be friends with someone who tells you it’s $..than $$$..all the time.

yup its a total copy - and a really bad copy too - ive seen the real outfit - and its stunning!!!
but nevertheless shes a pretty girl and pulls it off - the wedding was probably somewhere in the West
