If you save pics with spaces in the name, the thumbnail will not upload and an ugly 'x' will come up. Please save pics without spaces in the names. For eg:
Saving the pic as BARAT VALIMA 01 copy_jpg-for-web-large will result in an an x.
The pic will come up if saved as BARATVALIMA01copyjpgforweblarge will result in an an x.
