i think its some other designer, i think her name is ruby shakeel and this is her DIL. this other guppie posted the picture earlier in here claiming that it was lesequin and it was not.

I think 2-3 people n the bride had GREAT outfits. no i dont think the matha pati looke OTT, infact, that's a perfect way to wear it. I think she rocked the look. And her dress... I've been thinking about it all day long, Next time I'm in Liberty, I'm definitely gonna ask some ppl around about it. I think its anchor work pr resham work maybe?
Not sure. Bride's beau tho. My vote's to BK.

The dress is ugly/typical in general, I don’t mean to be mean, because i think she’s beautiful, but the dress one her looks like it came from anarkali. Some other copy would have been so much better.
from what i've seen, this is a pretty good copy, maybe even the original with modifications, plus personally i feel most dresses appear different on models than they do on brides, there's a lot of editing and styling involved, of course the designers have to present their stuff the best way possible, on real brides it look different and more real. I prefer to see a dress on someone rather than on a model, very few dresses actually get to yoy with the model wearing it.

^I agree dresses look totally different on real people rather than models, but i find coppies to be pointless. Either go for the real thing or have your own personal designed outfit which is unique just for you!

yes, but there are some really good copies out there, u cannot even tell whether its designer or not, plus i don't think the designers lose out, bcoz the ppl who copy designs are the ones who are never going to buy from them in the first place, What did people do when there weren't designers in pakistan? they got them made from karigars. who had samples, nowadays all that's changed is that its become a huge industry.
And most of the time they're copying from foreign designers that noone in Pakistan really knows about, so there you have it.

I agree!! A copy is never as good and ends up looking rather ugly!! Either get the original or design your own! That's why I am still waiting to buy my Birkin and not get a knockoff! haha

sumo (blue and red dress): i have seen copies of it in literally every store in liberty lahore for 1/8th of the price but most of them were horrible in quality, inc the one in that pic.
most places that copy though, do a terrible job.
that being said, i think if you can get the exact same finishing/fitting, then why not go for it, and buy 2 outfits for the same price.
