Vogue India - Victoria Beckham in a bridal lehengas

Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham, said to be ‘one of the most photographed women in the world’, is on the cover of the the bridal issue of Vogue India. Photographed by Karen Collins and styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, she exudes an earnestness to look Indian.

“I think in some ways I am very Indian… Indian women love glamour and pay a lot of attention to their appearance and accessories! That’s very similar to me,” she tells the magazine. In this picture, Victoria’s wearing a pink Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla lehenga.

On the cover, Victoria sports a peach JJ Valaya zari lehenga, with a Swarovski embellished tulle bikini top and dupatta. “What’s the point of doing this for India if it looks like it’s for Italian Vogue?” she asks.

Being a clothing designer herself, Victoria loved this jewelled and sequinned gown from Rabani & Rakha. “I love the detailing in these clothes. It’s so me…this is real craftsmanship,” she said.

“Indian princess” - that was what Victoria felt like after wearing this Tarun Tahiliani lehenga.

“I look at my pictures in the papers and I think – for God’s sake woman, smile!” she confessed in the interview to the magazine. Well, we couldn’t have agreed more!

In this picture, she’s in a bullion embroidered coat and tulle dress by Alexander McQueen.

Ahhh she looks stunning! I love how she can pull of practically any outfit! The bracelet (panjangla i think its called) is beautiful.

on ENGAGEMENT, I wore a VERY simple with a lil work kurta salwar in light pink. I made my hair in a puff at home and my frd did my make up. I also wore heavy earrings (since the suit was simple), pretty pink and silver chooriyas, and a tiny head tikka (to add the its MY engagement touch) :P. It was a very small gathering of just 30 ppl (my fam n his), but some of my cuz’s and my aunties were over-dressed than I was thats y I went with the tiny tikka there lol.

my MEHNDI was a big function at a banquet hall n all.. It was mine n hubby’s together at the same time. I wore a yellow/green lehnga and he wore black kurta with a green n yellow (mixed) duppata around his neck to match..oh n i cut him out in all the pics

yessir! the big day! On WEDDING, I went with the traditional red n gold. I wore a jhoomar on the side and a tikka in the middle. My lehnga was mermaid style (if u dont know wat thats like google it :D).I had a matching purse with my lehnga and a matching red flowers bridal bouquet. Hubby wore white sherwani with red/gold kaam to match

on VALIMA, I went with blue n pink lehnga. My jewelery was white gold with blue/pink stones in it to match the lehnga. I had a tikka and jhoomar. A pink bridal bouquet. Hubby wore “pant type sherwani” where the top looks like sherwani and its dress pant at the bottom. The colour was white with blue/pink work on the collars, arms and near the buttons to match
