it has taken me over three months to go through all 340 pages of this thread and i totally feel like i know you guys. i have been waiting for these past months to catch up so that i could finally put in my first post.
mA all of the dulhans are so beautiful and so are there outfits. i loved looking at all of the pictures and seeing the noor that all of these women are giving off on their wedding days, iA i hope they are all blessed with many more days on happiness.
i've learnt so much about designers, jewelry, decor, in laws ;). it's been a great learning experience! thanks ladies and hopefully you'll be seeing more of me around here :)
do you have any more pics of the hsy/hsy copy - it looks amazing! would love to see more!

HELP! Ok so my sister is in Lahore shopping for my wedding, I couldn't go because of my work sch. She called me at 3am in the morning today told me that she went to Liberty Market to shop for my wedding dress. She said nothing really caught her eye out there and everything there so was expensive, Dresses costing 3-4lakh. I'm only willing to spend 1 1/2 lakh. A wedding dress shouldn't cost more than that. Other than that she liked a dress from Karma, but she didn't get the price quoted, I'm sure its in the 3-4 lakh category. She said by far their wedding dresses are eye catching and plus they have the Karma look, but everyone seems to be wearing Karma now
Other than I wanted to know if anyone knows any other non designer Bridal shops in lahore???? My sisters other option is to go to RavelPindi and go to Fashion Ka Ghar...but my In Laws already purchased my dress there for the Valima
I heard of Anarkali but that bazaar tends to sell typical pakistani wedding outfits.....

i would recommend anar kali bcoz they have a large variaty and im sure there will to customize it for you if you want to add something, or could you not send a pic of a lengha that u like and get it made?

zaaraprincess,she def. doesnt need to go anywhere else other than lahore.liberty is just an expensive market.i would recommend anar kali.depending on how much timedo you have, you can get the dress custom made..
i had a lil more than a month and gt a gharara made, where i chose my own colors,material and work. also, there are shops in anar kali which have catalogues containing workof designers that you can get custom made for much lesser price.
also, if you'relooking to get something made in less time,you can let them know..they can REAALLY do anything in a week or two. ive had much experience.
ZP, liberty has quite a few shops such as zardozi, think pink, ali bridal, etc. your sis should be able to find something in the price range you're looking at...that's plenty of money for a non-designer piece. your sis will have to bargain some, too. there's absolutely no need to go to pindi...there's more variety in lahore for sure.
hey, i just remembered a small shop called sanam boutique in liberty. their formals are nice. you should ask your sis to go there as well.
AW & PF here have some nice bridals within your price range...why take the risk of having someone else pick out your wedding outfit when you can do it yourself?

yeah that wud also look gud on her.. but I thought she was lookin lovely coz she didnt do everything OTT like many other indian brides do.. wid 2 much make up, jewellery etc etc..
