thankyou pakigurl, njgal, naqsa, gina and laydhoney. yes midnighteyes these are made by the very same women they are pros, they really do a great job, put their heart and soul in every piece. Oh no straight_up make up is the hard part.. i made the dresses and the pink one is very pretty indeed.
Sara, i'm not sure which designer they are because she saw the pictures somewhere and then couldnt find them anywhere so she actually drew pictures for me colored them and emailed them and endless phone conversations. It was a huge risk we both took but it turned out fine and now that i think of it the white one looks like something karma would do but still no idea.
^Yeah it's matter of personal preference adra. I guess I'm more atrracted to 'out of the ordinary' pieces. I love how some designers choose to try different fabrics/colours/designs :--)

I wouldn't wear any of the designs but yes they are so amazing! They are very different, bold and unique. Thanks for sharing.
Your dresses are georgeous! If you can please upload larger pics and details about the designers, price and well make-up, too. Hope you are enjoying your new life.
Thank You Mahi. I will definitely try to post larger images as well.
The shadi one is from Zardozi and Valima dress is from a private designer who is my MIL's acquaintance. The first one cost my mom Rs 80,000 and aunty paid 1,50,000 for the valima dress.
Akif Ilyas was the makeup artist both the days.
Asma44,shukria :--). The fotoshoot is by Jimmy's and the other one is a freelancer.
^ they're very interesting. i like bits and pieces of them here and there. thanks for putting them up, though.
Exactly! I don't like all of them, but I like bits and pieces from a few of the lehnga's. Designers have to keep experimenting imo to stay interesting for the buyers.
i think her work is beautiful! i love the first picture on the right- the white one with the sheer overlay and the interesting cuffs.
i think as with most couture designers, nilofer shahid shows off concepts, innovations, and her creativity rather than saleable pieces. i don't think she would ever expect to make these for someone to actually wear.
