hey that’s a good idea, Just like the convertible wedding dress (longer kameez with separate plain pair of trousers aside from the lengha) comes a convertible tikka and earrings, have a teeny tiny suraakh at the top of either of em, so once the shadi is over, u can thread the chain through the tikka or giant earring and voila, pendant!! Just get teeny tiny earrings to go with it.

Interesting…I didn’t think Hindu people wore gulubands like that, I always figured that was a very Hyderabadi Muslim thing.
I actually saw 1 bride who basically had a pendant on a chain that she pinned in her hair like a teeka for the wedding…you could tell because you could see the chain looping through the suraakh on top.

First two outfits look like Nilofer Shahid, and the valima outfit looks like Karma. Even though its really heavy for my taste, I kinda like her wedding jewelry…

Not sure…if I had to guess, I’d say the embroidery looks like something Nilofer Shahid would have come up with.
I know for a fact that the wedding dress is by Nilofer, and the valima outfit is Karma (or are excellent knockoffs thereof…but judging from the rest of her set-up, my guess would be that the outfits are genuine).

^ yeah i think the outfits are genuine. the url to their wedding pics was posted here a few pages ago i believe- from the taimur guy and their official photographer. they had a loft for the mehendi, and the wedding/valime in these two absolutely gorgeous venues in new york. i LOVE her wedding kundan set… its stunning.
i think someone said the mehendi dress was nilofer shahid too but im not sure. the funny thing is, i think her look was so loved by people, theres actually a facebook group dedicated to their wedding and run by strangers! hahahahahah

But the earings of my bridal sets gave the same BIGGGG impression, (that was of gold) and the jhoomar too!
