^ lol its a traditional hyderabadi thing, so im not surprised both of them have it. i've seen it on lots of brides and i wore one myself too :p
its a gorgeous necklace but i wouldnt like it if someone wore it to my mehendi b4 i wore it to my shaadi!!

actually..roshanay (kiran's khala) has her own jewelery business...and a boutique...no wonder everyone's outfits coordinated so well... :)
yeah, thats what i was thinking! i think all the close females from the family wore the same gulubands..i saw 4-5 of them in her other album. i thought that was a really cute idea.

^ yeah i agree. i think its way less hectic to have the same jewellery than some other new dulhan wearing a similar red/maroon gharara to your wedding! remember that argument? ahhh, fun times

for the record. she's my fav bride ever. i love her jewellery. i was just a little taken aback by seeing the exact same thing worn by someone at the mehendi. also for the record i had no idea it is a heirloom piece common among hyderabadis or that it is common and acceptable for other members to wear it. Ignorance aside, i still wouldnt like it if someone wore SUCH a gorgeous piece of jewellery before i did aside from my mom....years ago :) lol

well i understand where you guys are coming from, but this is a pretty common type of necklace in desi jewelry. it'd be like a western bride complaining that someone wore a pearl strand necklace to her bridal shower before she wore hers to the wedding
(also just an aside-- i dont know if you guys saw it but i think one other guest is wearing a sat-lara/ rani haar necklace the same day as kiran is wearing hers, so go figure!)

omg suneeta has like the cutest face ever!
i really like suneeta marshall, she has such a pretty face and on top of that, every time i see pics of her at social events, etc, she comes across as the only one with a good fashion sense and her pics are quite decent as well.
