all 3 of these are excellent! The first and third are definitely karma (notice the infamous yellow karma ghara in the back of the runway) and the second one is HSY.

Okay stupid Q but do Indian brides...like real ones, not celebrities, REALLY wear belly-baring stuff?? i mean...that's gotta be ALOT of pressure for a bride or a girl in general, that if shes wearing sarees and belly shirts she's gotta be fit. or do some just not care and wear the belly stuff any way?
Indian-Muslim brides don't bare their belly, it's a India-Hindu tradition. Regardless of belly-baring or not- most brides do get pressure to look their most fit/toned on their wedding. Here in the states it pretty much goes without saying that brides aspire to be in their best physical shape for their wedding.
I'm pretty thin myself but am on a workout regime to tone up my arms before my approaching wedding iA since my sleeves will be short

ghazal, yeah the very bottom of that farshi lehenga is chatta patti... and the other day, i did hear my aunt's friend referring to it as patta patti... but whether its chatta or patta, its both patterns- diamonds or stripes- and both refer to clothes. i think on a quilt, it would be called patchwork, no?

where the gote is not at the knee, like on a traditional two-legged gharara or one- legged lehenga, but at mid-calf length.
