this dress might be of interest...its been displayed at the Victoria and Albert Museum for ages and is a precursor to the gharara--a farshi pyjama. This is the Queen of Oudh's dress........
in real life the gold work is quite intricate and different......:):)

"Woman's court dress of Oudh (in India), thought at one time to have belonged to a Queen of Oudh. The trousers (farshi paijama) of this costume are typically made with 17 triangles and 1 rectangle in each leg (see diagram), and the dress has a similar construction to give fullness."

oy vey, who did her makeup? its sooo heavy and not really blended. i really like her mehendi look- very cute. also the dulha is cute :)
