I was wondering if any of you girls - married or unmarried - know this shop in Lahore .. I think its in Gulberg maybe? not really sure actually. Anywayz the shop is called "Khaas Libaas" .. is it good, well known, anything? I have seen quite a few members of my extended family buying their wedding dress from this one, but never really heard of it before.

i went to libas e khas, didnt find anything special or cutting edge, bog standard lengha in the same colours, but thats my view, places such as think pink and zardosi and ali's are much better in liberty market

chiffon is softer and more sheer and has a bit of a grip,the fabric used for dupattas basically. Georgette is pretty much all slippery, can be thick, can be sheer, but very slippery.

chiffon and georgette look similar, but chiffon is finer and softer, because it has some silk threads along with artificial material. georgette is all artificial material. nothing that is produced naturally.
that's why chiffon can stain easily, especially water marks. it has to be cared for real well.
