She is really looking nice…She’s the same bride whose baraat pictures were on the “Bridal Make-up” thread:

Yeah, the neckline is not looking very nice but I think that it would have worked with dupatta on her shoulder rather than on her head.

That’s one heavy set I like light colors.

The jewelry is looking nice.

Ehhh if it was a mehndi/mayyoun/dholki event, that’d be an appropriate neckline. And hte kameez is really really short…but I wouldn’t do that for a bridal dress, its’ just too trendy IMO

Aww I like this one..very cute stuff! And she looks so happy !!! The heavy jewelery is nice, but I don’t like churidaar…for weddings, sharara/lengha are classic

i think this IS her mehendi/mayoun type of event - neither she nor her groom are dressed as if for a valima or wedding. i think its her posture that wrecks the outfit- who slumps over like that? plus with a neckline so stylised, she shouldnt have worn a necklace- its taking away from the keyhole neckline.

a normal round neckline or a square or even a V neckline. i think its more to do with your figure- if you’re a bit on the heavy side, don’t do fancy necklines - theres nothing to emphasize. when you can see your collarbones, thats hott, then you can go all out with your neckline i’d say. thats my own personal rule of thumb anyway. i’ve seen a lot of girls here with a very wide boatneck type and it really just makes them look odd… either do it properly, and i believe a proper boatneck is quite high, or don’t do it… cos when you do a boat neck spread from shoulder to shoulder and then its deep too, its just a weird oval shape. i much prefer an off-shoulder to that.

Thanks for the helpful info SGC! It’s funny because ever since you pointed it out all I’ve really noticed from this new batch of pics is the necklines!!

She’s just lovely! The color, the makeup, the clothes - gorgeous! I’m in love with the jewellery especially the longer necklace. I sooo want this for my wedding. Is this custom made stuff? because I haven’t seen it at any jewellers (at least not here in TO) - maybe in pak? And that ring she’s wearing - I’ve seen it in movie remakes like devdas and umrao jaan - but never actually seen somebody wear one. Hmm i guess it must be artificial…

Im not loving this neckline…i just dont like it…it looks wierd to me.

Personally i think she looks nicer on the wedding day…i think her set is a bit too much for my liking.

I think she looks nicer on her shaadi day than the valima day.

yeah, may be the jewelry is artificial but it’s absolutely beautiful and exotic and she’s just gorgeous.

Yeah the longer necklace called Maala and i dont know others but my cousins wore maala and it was lookinf very elegant (and now it has been a fahion in our family) and that 4 sure i will wear it also lolzzz:clown:
