BRIDAL PICS.

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

She means that people come up on wedding wearing black color cotton hijabs that don't look quite nice. Hence, she is appreciating the lady for matching the hijab with her dress (both color and fabric).

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

^ lol no i meant the ones who wear their lengha ka duputta on their head, WITH the short sleeves and low galas.. :D

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

lolz...

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

wow.. girls really do that?? i haven't seen it...

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

^ ok to be honest, i saw maybe 1-2 pics here like that... so I don't know how very common it can be. but she looked nice any way, a good way to coordinate without looking like an idiot AND wearing the hijab properly :)

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

that's cool... she looked nice masha'allah.. pretty much everyone i know wears hijab and coordinates it well so it doesn't really surprise me as much... a lot of brides too, and they pulled it off nicely as well... :)

^ first of all may allah bless the bride and the groom with a wonderfull and happy marriage, the first thing i noticed about the pic is her jewellery i counted all of them…a of few of her sets she is wearing are really nice, however it is so important to have your makeup done by a good makeup artist! Coz u get married once in your lifetime and everything will be captured on that special day!
I dont think these ppl r pakistani though maybe indian ?

girls check out that handbag she is holding…very interesting i must say for a party dress but not for on a wedding…i like it though very funky
her brothers look like twins to me

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

and the ironice part is that all the sort of hijabans youve described above get away with anything just cause of the hijab :cb:

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

i think that girl with the bad makeup actually her eye makeup is good its just her foundation is TOO light and her lipstick too dark she should have done nude lips and a normal color foundation with that dramatic eye

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

Not neccesarily , regardless if you are wearing a hijab or decide not to, the prime and most important is dressing modestly.

Since every 1 has his/her own definition of what a modest dress is , i dont think that it is ironic of hijabans described as above get away with everything only because they wear hijab they actually cant because they are looked weird when they dont as you might have noticed and are actually being more criticised! Its ironic that some girls who do not wear hijab or do not observe modest dressing pick on those who do while they can get away with everything only because they do not wear it.

I havent seen a real hijabi with low galas and sleevless or bare legged outfits…thats pakistan’s current fashion of today

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

MashAllah -- all the happy brides and grooms.

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

wearing a scarf or not...we r all muslims and the islamic teachings apply on all of us dont they??
i think lowgalas in general and very tiny sleeves arre..............................

well i dont want to hurt any 1 nes feelings here

modesty is in behavior aswell and not only in how u dress

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

Im very casual in my way of dressing and I donot point fingers at the way other people dress but to wear a hijab with a split skirt or a tight top to me is kinda Hypocrite behaviour.

My best friends sister in law wears a hijab. But thats as far as her religion goes.

She gets away with everything as opposed to other women in the family who donot observe the hijab.

When I go to their house their mother will tell my friend off for wearing a dress reaching her ankles but the sister in law would be sitting there with a hijab and a tight shirt on and noone would say anything to her.

So its an observation

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

hmmm i get your point, and it is sad actually.
I am not pointing my fingers at you at all, and i dont think i am in a position to judge you. Khair miscommunication happens.

I do get your point and even i have seen it, but i guess the answer thats how some ppl are....noone is the same and neither can we change nything bout it. Khair!

I only wanted to say that it iss wrong to generalise ...have a nice day

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

No No its okay, i didnt think you were. It was just an observation that baffles me sometimes to a comical extent. :)

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

hmm why does she observe hijab at home ?? she is allowed to wear anything until its an onli women's mehfil . bt where it is mixed then yeh wearin a tite shirt is stupid.

here in the UK i see girls with hijab wearin skinny jeans and tucked into boots with short jackets n tite tops just abt covering their backside.... its ridiculous.

Re: BRIDAL PICS.

She observes hijab all the time except when she is at home.

That was the only condition that the husband put forward before marrying her.
She's worn the hijab since then which is kinda good and sweet i suppose

Alrite no more hijab talk, otherwise we'll have a long winding debate

Back to lovely brides.
