I know, when I saw her... My eyes popped out. She wore polki diamond set and her make-up in real was way toooo amazing. You should see her spouse, he is a hunk! On her wedding more than 1400 VIP people showed up..top politicians to journalists and tv actors... .I've never seen a wedding like that in Karachi. I wish I could post her fb album link but but I know she will be very upset.

Kundan is a process applied to gold. Not sure exactly what they do but if I'm not wrong it had something to do with really raising the temperature and adding some other element into it. That's why the kundan designs seem more heavier.. they have lesser gold in them. Polki is the melting of diamond leftover and than the solidifying of that. So kundan is the gold you see and polki is the gem part :)

A polki set has uncut diamonds set into the gold in the kundan style. A regular kundan set I think uses glass in gold.
